NEW FABRICCHAMBRAY

A new chambray joins UpcycleLino. Black warp meets ecru recycled weft, giving the cloth a quiet depth. This season, it comes in two styles: a shirt jacket and easy-fit pants.

Woven with 60/2 black yarn in the warp and 27/1 ecru recycled yarn in the weft. Recycled yarn is made by shredding cutting scraps back into raw fibre and spinning them anew. Pairing fine and heavy counts in a dense weave keeps the cloth light to the eye, yet sturdy and stable in structure.

The greige cloth is bio-washed, then softened by thorough tumbling. No softener is used, keeping a dry, natural hand. Chambray molds to your body the more you wear it, and its character deepens over time.

A shirt jacket with tucks at the front and back. The crisp cloth holds a clean line, even in a relaxed silhouette. Ecru bar tacks stand out against the charcoal grey cloth. Garment-washed for an easy, ready-to-wear feel.

Easy pants with an elastic waist and drawcord. With no side seams, the silhouette is defined only by the patch pockets at the front and back. Cut from the same cloth as the shirt jacket, so the two can be worn together as a set.
